Intensive Finnish Language Course!
The course lasts for 8 weeks. From Monday to Friday, there are five lessons per day, plus independent study. While primarily focused on Finnish language, we also integrate topics related to culture and working life of Finland.
In addition to studying, you can get three meals a day and stay in the folk high school in rooms for 1-2 people.

January 22nd – March 22nd, 2024
Starting Level: 0
Goal: A1
Intensive 2
April 4th – May 31st, 2024
Starting Level: A1.3 or equivalent knowledge
Goal: A2
Location
Haapavesi is a folk high school situated in Haapavesi, Northern Ostrobothnia. This small town is beautiful and peaceful, with nature close by and excellent opportunities for skiing and other outdoor activities. Address: Vanhatie 45, 86600 HAAPAVESI
Tuition and Accommodation
Tuition: €60 / week (study voucher subsidy may reduce the price)
Lunch: €25 / week Served at the dining hall, Wiivinsali
Meals: €50 / week (Lunch Mon-Fri, breakfast Tue-Fri, dinner Mon-Thu)
Accommodation: €50 / week at the dormitory
Residents must adhere to specific dormitory rules, follow a guide and a housing agreement.
