Intensive Finnish Language Course!
The course is designed for individuals who have no knowledge of the Finnish language or who have only a basic understanding of it.
The course lasts approximately 10 weeks (March 17 – May 28). Classes are held from Monday to Friday, with five lessons per day. While primarily focused on Finnish language, we also integrate topics related to culture and working life of Finland. The course is also suitable for compulsory education students.
In addition to studying, you can get three meals a day and stay in the folk high school in rooms for 1–2 people.

Haapavesi is a folk high school situated in Haapavesi, Northern Ostrobothnia. This small town is beautiful and peaceful, with nature close by and excellent opportunities for skiing and other outdoor activities. Address: Vanhatie 45, 86600 HAAPAVESI
Tuition and Accommodation
Tuition: €60 / week (study voucher subsidy may reduce the price)
Lunch: €25 / week Served at the dining hall, Wiivinsali
Meals: €50 / week (Lunch Mon-Fri, breakfast Tue-Fri, dinner Mon-Thu)
Accommodation: €50 / week at the dormitory
Residents must adhere to specific dormitory rules, follow a guide and a housing agreement.
